I came across these 2 videos on You Tube, I figured I would post them...these videos remind me how much we love living and serving God in IV:

Jesus Burgers
Well it has been 7 years now of serving “Jesus Burgers” in Isla Vista…so many stories, so many lives changed, so many seeds of love sown. Every Friday we have cooked up between 160 to 200 hamburgers, which have come to be known throughout the city as the “Jesus Burgers.” Rarely do I ever get to bed before 2am on this night, but it is well worth the sleep deprivation the next morning.
This last Friday I decided to take a few pictures on my cell phone. They’re a bit hard to see, but I figured I would post them anyway. In the picture of the one from the outside into the home the gal in the middle, Joe, had a great time hanging out with us and asking us questions about life. I had a good talk with Joe out in front of the house before she went inside and spent some time with Gwena and Tiffany (two of the girls that live in the ministry house).
We are all honored to be a part of what God is doing in IV and to get to show His love through a piece of meat, two buns, and a little ketchup and mustard. We are so thankful that our God is good and always in a good mood.
“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” (1 Timothy 1:5).

Pray for IV
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
The warfare I have felt in IV this week has been real and extremely tangible. Words are limited at times for what I have been seeing in the natural and experiencing in the Lord. I write this post as a prayer request for this city as we conclude another school year in about a month.
With already an intense week on many fronts, I came home around 8pm tonight from being in Ventura to discover that a 20 year old named Sara was found dead today in her room from a drug overdose. After dropping Samuel off at our house, I went down to the house where it had happened and prayed over the whole situation for a while. I also was able to get into conversation with a few of the people who lived with her and offered an ear to them in their condition. Death is real, especially when it hits home in your backyard.
Again, I ask for your prayers for IV and for Sara’s family & friends.
"When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

The 2 become 1
Here are some pictures of a wedding I performed for this beautiful couple a few months back. The groom, Rafael, accepted the Lord within the last year and I had the privilege of baptizing him soon after he made the decison! His bride, now wife, Jacqueline, is a super sweet and thoughtful person…the wedding was at the court house and it was filled with such love and joy! Rafael graduates next month, but Jacqueline still has one more year at UCSB. They currently live in IV.
